Founded in Florence, DamoTech s.r.l. was born from a conviction that cybersecurity and space technology must evolve together to protect the systems modern societies depend on. As a PMI Innovativa (innovative SME) registered under Italian law, the company channels research intensity and entrepreneurial agility into solutions for some of the most demanding operational environments in Europe.

From the outset, the team combined deep expertise in threat intelligence, secure software engineering, and information classification with a commitment to open standards and interoperability. This approach attracted early partnerships with European institutions and defence primes, validating a model in which a small, focused company can contribute meaningfully to continental-scale security challenges.

Today, DamoTech holds dual ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications (RINA, CISQ Federation), maintains active collaborations with the European Space Agency, and continues to invest in R&D at the intersection of cyber, space, and sovereign technology.

DamoTech works alongside ESA on initiatives that address the emerging threat landscape in orbit — from on-board intrusion detection for satellite platforms to encrypted information workflow management for space missions.
